Would you like to engage in an exciting volunteering experience that could change your life for the better and have a fantastic impact on women and children in some of India’s most deprived rural areas? At iSpiice (Integrated Social Programs in Indian Child Education), we offer many exciting opportunities for you to give something back through teaching programs, childcare, renovations, health services and more. Safety is a prime concern for our company and all volunteers can rest assured that we will place them in secure surroundings for the duration of their trip.
Our volunteering opportunities for young people, students, individuals and groups tend to last from between two and twelve weeks depending on the program. We have many different roles and activities for hard-working people who want to give something back to some of the most underprivileged communities in the world. The most popular programs we plan include:
• Teaching English as a foreign language
• Providing childcare services
• Promoting women’s empowerment
• Offering support to street children
• Renovating run-down buildings
• Offering vital health education
• Running summer activity programs
• Teaching basic computer skills
• Giving tuition to young people
All volunteers will arrive at New Delhi Airport where you’ll meet iSpiice team members who will look after you and ensure your stay in India is enjoyable. Your dedicated coordinator will welcome you to the country and make sure you have everything you require for the duration of your placement. You will have many opportunities to ask questions and alleviate any concerns and iSpiice is committed to ensuring your time in India goes as smoothly as possible.
Volunteers spend lots of time with local people and that helps to guarantee you never miss the best sights and experiences when exploring this stunning country. As you’re probably further away from home than ever before, iSpiice staff members will go the extra mile when it comes to making sure you feel confident and well-prepared for the experience ahead. India is one of the most vibrant and culturally-diverse nations on Earth. So, there is always something new to discover and you can make a real change in the lives of native people who live in poor conditions.
iSpiice offers a range of extra tours that you can add to your volunteering package to ensure you get the best experience possible in India. These include trips to the Taj Mahal, trekking in the Himalayas and visits to the Golden Temple. For full details, just click over to the “Add-on tours for volunteers” section of our website. We handle all the hard work and arrange all the tickets you’re going to require. You just have to let us know what you want to do and place your booking.
The communal iSpiice volunteer house is the perfect base for your volunteering experience. Here, you will find specially-trained staff with an in-depth knowledge of India and the local areas in which you will offer your services. People who engage in our programs can use the volunteer house to dine with other visitors, have conversations and make lots of new social connections. Staff will drive you from that location to all your volunteering opportunities and they’re always around to lend a helping hand or an empathetic ear if it’s required.
